I am considering buying a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Laredo from a friend. he is getting rid of it because of the fuel cost. I have always wanted a jeep and his has a lift kit and kicker stereo included, all for $4,000.
Any way I can get the better mileage on my dream car?

I dont have the owners manual to the used 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee that i just purchased. One thing im having a problem with is trying to figure out how to turn on the factory fog lamps which are located below the front bumper. Ive tried the stem for the head lamps on the steeing wheel in every position i can think of and no luck yet….Pleeeze help

I just bought a 2006 Jeep Cherokee and an orange light shows up when I start and drive it. It looks kind of like an engine but I have no idea what it is. Does anyone know if this is normal?
I would think it would say check engine if it was that. I just bought the car today and its been there since. They told me about the airbag light and said they’d fix it.
This light is just like a box with some strange shapes coming off the sides.

Everyone has said to get the 4 door model when looking to buy a Jeep Cherokee (XJ). Is there any difference between the two models besides one having 2 doors and one having 4 doors? Is convenience the only factor because I like the look of the 2 door XJ’s but if there is something mechanically different or unsound, I don’t want to make a mistake.

My 1996 jeep grand cherokee shakes terribly when it picks up speed and it drives very bumpy the ride is no where near smooth. The shaking is so terrible the vehicle is hard to control. It only stops if the brake is pressed and the vehicle comes to almost a complete stop. Could the axle or tire rods have something to do with this?

I had some service done on my 1997 jeep grand cherokee and now the
information center is just flashing. How do i reset it so it’ll stop flashing.
