I ask this question because I see a lot of guys and girls that think they are “all that” because they are driving these. It is like they are crying for attention…. look at me … look at me. It is sort of funny. A lot of guys make a point to where their cool clothes (Abercrombie and American Eagle) along with their so called “cool” helmet on their sportbikes. I also notice that a lot of guys on their sportbikes look around to see if people are looking at them. What is up with this? When it comes to Jeeps, I notice a lot of people get them jacked up with 4×4 huge tires when they only drive them in town on city streets. Whats the deal with this?? You crying for attention. Let me know what you all think.

I am thinking about purchasing this radio: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882117318 to upgrade the stock one in it currently. I was wondering if I need any sort of packages or other accessories to make it fit in the slot or connect to the amp. It currently has the total base line radio for the model, with just a cassette/AM/FM radio
Also what is the size of the Jeep radio? Aren’t there industry standard sizes for car radios?

The “X” model does not have it as an available option. I really like it and was thinking about purchasing a new unit via ebay but before I did so I wanted to make sure that it would work on the “X” model. Basically if I can switch out the stock radio with the mygig without any problems or need to buy other parts/accessories for it. Thanks..

Also looking to put some extra’s and accessories on it.. and would appreciate it if it werent TOO awfully expensive. Im not using it to offroad.. just some fun. I’m a college student so I wont have too much time to invest in it, and I commute about 20 miles to work about twice a week. Any thoughts???

I have a 1988 Jeep Wrangler who recently had the tranny rebuilt. Everything worked great. Then, I put on some new pedal pads (gas, brake, and clutch pedals–better grip when driving with wet feet) and a floor mat. Now, I have to press the pedal *into* the floor to get the clutch to disengage/engage. I’m wearing a hole into the floor mat because of how far down I have to push it! …and a lot of times it actually gets STUCK on the floor mat, which is dangerous.
I’d really like to adjust my clutch *just a little* so I can still drive it with the accessories I put on. Cars I’ve had in the past had simple ways to to do this…but I can’t see how to do it on my Wrangler. I’ve tried looking in a repair manual and online but haven’t found anything yet.
Does anyone know how to adjust it? I would think there *has* to be a way…
Thanks,
Dan
Since it’s a hydrolic clutch, am I just S.O.L. on adjusting it? You’d think there’d by some way of adjusting how the pedal interacts with they hydrolic system…
