reset vehicle information center jeep cherokee 1997?

I had some service done on my 1997 jeep grand cherokee and now the
information center is just flashing. How do i reset it so it’ll stop flashing.

I tried holding down the select button but nothing happens
Can I open the dashboard myself and press the reset button or do I need a mechanic to do it?

Open the dashboard and press the reset button.

I’m not sitting in my Jeep right now, but I think you press the select button to get to the ‘0 miles to service’ and then hold down ’set’ for about 3-5 seconds
