Why does my soft top on my Jeep Wrangler YJ always come out of the bottom groove for rear windows?
When I bought the jeep there were no problems with the rear windows coming out of the metal holding groove. Since taking the top off a few times the rear windows now come out of the groove constantly when driving… I didn’t think I was very rough with the top when I took it off. What can I do to keep the rear windows in place?

I had that same problem with my top and it was almost brand new. I found I wasn’t pushing the plastic strip in far enough into the rail. It would look alright when I put it up and even when I put tension on the frame but as soon as I went down the road it would pop out. Make sure you push it in as far as it will go and then get rid of the slack by expanding the frame.

The bows should hold enough tension to keep the windows in the groove. did you bend the bows? Any problems with the zipper that would prevent it from holding the tension?
